A wedding fit for a princess! Kylin is the portrait of perfection and Jeremy is her perfect prince! Their St Pius X Wedding in Lafayette with a reception at The Madison in Broussard was one for the ages. The perfect start to a perfect love story.

Urban Dictionary defines Princess as:

Princess: A girl who is sweet, kind, smart, goofy, intelligent, beautiful and an amazing friend to have. She will always be there for you and help you out with your problems and will never judge you. Overall, a princess is just an amazing person in general. She is also bold and brave.

I’m pretty sure Kylin should be added to that definition! Anyone who has met her would agree. Especially Jeremy. Don’t let him fool you though, he’s just a Prince in disguise! I mean, who else would plan the perfect engagement at a Vinyard in Sicily?

Wedding and Reception Venues

Where would a Prince and Princess get married in Lafayette, Louisiana? A heartfelt ceremony at St. Pius X Catholic Church and an epic reception at The Madison in Broussard, of course! Complete with a second line exit in true Louisiana fashion.

The day started with Kylin and her girls getting ready. She also did a first look with her girls! It was so sweet and perfect. Jeremy and the guys were hanging out at his house and we stopped by to photograph them (and their socks!) and Lady!! (she’s Kylin and Jeremy’s Labrador that was also included in their engagement photo session)

Then it was time for the St Pius X Wedding! An entrance only fit for a Princess. The Church doors open and there’s Jeremy, waiting for his Love! Vows are said, laughs as words are forgotten, tears follow — tears of joy of course! A kiss (or two or three!) and everyone is off to The Madison for an amazing reception!

We like to take a moment with the bride and groom alone sometime after the ceremony. Kylin and Jeremy were able to have the whole Church to themselves right after the wedding ceremony. It was such a special and sacred moment for them to just be.

After their St Pius X wedding ceremony, they danced the night away at The Madison. From first dance to last dance (which happened to be a Second Line) Louisiana Red kept the party going. There’s just something about a live band that gets the crowd going! But don’t take our word for it, have a look for yourself!
