An LSU engagement like no other — He proposed as she was walking across the Louisiana State University campus. He knew the path she took every day. They just so happened to meet up near the stadium — and she said YES under the Tiger Stadium lights!

The LSU campus will always have a special place in our hearts. It’s where we met. Where we fell in love. Graduated. Where we MARRIED! Yes, our wedding was even on the Louisiana State University campus — complete with our wedding reception in the LSU Union!

So when Kylie and Blue requested an LSU engagement session, we couldn’t say no! We started out at the Memorial Clock Tower (which was under renovations). It’s the perfect meeting place on campus – you can see it for miles! Wandering around campus, they told us about their experiences. It was so neat to hear about the campus from a different point of view, but also how the campus ties everyone together. Walking hand-in-hand in the quad, grabbing a snack at one of the little cafe’s, running all the way across campus to get to your next class… fun times!

Of course, no engagement session at LSU is complete until we go to the Greek Theater! I may or may not have an obsession with it… I only ask couples about 14 million times if they’d like to take photos there. Being in Tiger Band, we were always near the Greek Theater and Enchanted Forrest because it was near the band room, band field, and near where The Golden Band from Tigerland starts their march to the Stadium. We almost had an outdoor wedding in the Greek Theater, but June heat is brutal in Louisiana.

Then we also stopped in at Patrick F. Taylor Hall — the Engineering building. Kylie and Blue danced, reminisced, dreamed, loved, and held hands all around the LSU campus!
