We love engagement sessions! It’s the perfect time for us to get to know you, and have some fun creating artwork for your home!!! Incorporating meaningful locations or elements make the photos that much more memorable for you — and this UL Lafayette engagement was no exception. Colleen and Khristopher love UL and Cajun Field and we were able to have access on the field for photos (you just have to ask nicely!).

UL Alumni Center

We started the day at the UL Alumni Center. Colleen is a graduate of UL, so of course we had to make a stop there! It’s the perfect spot on campus to get some romantic photos with a wide range of gorgeous backgrounds. Surrounded by oaks with lush gardens on the grounds, the Alumni Center doesn’t disappoint. We even walked over to the fountain outside of the Paul and Lulu Hilliard University Art Museum. The entire UL campus is just gorgeous! Of course, with a couple as cute together as Colleen and Khristopher are, you can’t go wrong with any background. You can just feel the love between them – the way he looks at her just melts icebergs! He could have saved the Titanic…

UL Cajun Field

Colleen and Khristopher are avid UL sportfans. One of their first dates was to a UL sporting event – so we had to make a stop at the stadium. We asked nicely, and were able to gain access to the UL Football Field for photos! After some photos in the stands, we headed down to the field with our lights to get some epic shots! We love creating artwork for couples – huge display pieces for your home with a story and meaning behind them – what else could you ask for?! It’s one of the reasons why we love to get to know our couples. Getting them comfortable in front of the camera and being able to capture their love story is amazing and it’s what we live for! Colleen and Khristopher have some amazing memories associated with UL Football, and now they have the images of just the two of them on Cajun Field to connect everything together.
